Survey of Citizens’ Satisfaction with Local Services

December 2025 – Indago conducted the survey on citizens’ satisfaction with local services as part of the “Strengthening Municipal Councils – Phase 2” Project, which is funded by the Government of Switzerland and the Ministry of Local Self-Government, and implemented and co-financed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Other partners involved in the implementation of the project include the Ministry of Finance, the Association of the Units of Local Self-Government (ZELS), the Association of Financial Officers (AFO), UN Women, NALAS, civil society organizations, as well as the local self-government units in the Republic of North Macedonia.

The target group of the survey was the general population in the Republic of North Macedonia aged 18 and over. The survey was conducted on a sample of 1,000 respondents that is nationally representative by statistical regions, place of residence (urban/rural), age, gender and ethnicity.
